If you are planning to experience the best and most rewarding compare to other treks in Nepal, then Mardi Himal Trek is definitely the one i recommend. The trail goes along small winding paths, through magical rhododendron forests until you climb out of the forest at an elevation around 3,300 m.
Mardi Himal Base Camp sits to the east of Annapurna Base Camp. Although this trek is an easy trek you may have to climb to a higher altitude. The highest point of Mardi Himal trek is the Mardi Himal Base Camp which is at the altitude of 4500 meters.
WHY MARDI HIMAL
They are a lot of mountains in Nepal but why did we chose Mardi Himal? The reason is very simple, it is because Mardi Himal is probably the newest trek. It is also because we want to have a glimpse of the Annapurna South and the Mt. Machhapuchhre (also known as Fishtail). Machhapuchhre is a holy mountain and no one has ever climb that mountain. Mardi Himal is also not very crowded. It is definitely a perfect place and a good start for our first trek.
